The termination of USAID projects has real consequences. Based on historical data, we estimate that at a minimum:

More than 30 unsafe abortions will occur that could have been avoided.
At least 15 children will be denied essential treatment for childhood disease.
More than 60 people will be denied essential family planning services.
Over 1,400 women will be denied maternal health services.
More than 1,880 women will become pregnant when they didn't intend to be.
360 children under the age of five will forgo nutrition supplementation.
9 women will die, when their lives could have been saved.
